F.A.Q. and Policy
Given that frequently asked questions are often related to our policy, we've put them all together here. If you still have questions after reading this, please contact us.

Working with Vulnerable People:
Our teachers have and maintain current WWVP registration and participate in required training as necessary.

How do I pay for my membership?

Our preferred option is by credit card via our online payment gateway. This is secure and keeps things simple.
If this doesn’t work for you, please let us know when you need to sign up so we can discuss alternatives.
We’ll send you more information on this when you’re ready to sign up.
Does this price take into account when the academy is closed?
Yes. We take the price of everything we offer and spread it across 12 monthly payments, factoring in the classes, term breaks, portal, booklets, armbands, JAM-uary, etc.
For example, you may only have 3 classes in April, but 4 classes in June.
This approach means a simple pricing system for everyone.
How does cancellation work?
You can cancel any time. However, we appreciate it if students can complete the given term where possible. We do not offer refunds, but you will not be charged from the following month of your cancellation.
What if I take an extended holiday?
This is a wonderful opportunity, but this can make things tricky for us. The simplest solution is to let us know as soon as you can if this is going to happen and we can make a plan, so you can come back and rejoin your class without losing your spot, or falling too far behind.
What if my lesson falls on a public holiday?
We’ll prepare some remote materials for you for that week to keep you progressing. You may be able to join another class that week and join in, depending on availability and class sizes. Please let your teacher know as soon as you can if you wish to do this.
What if my teacher is sick or the academy needs to close unexpectedly?
On the rare occasion that your teacher is sick or the academy needs to close for some unforeseen reason, we’ll inform you immediately and provide you with instructions on what to practise that week, as well as any additional items in the portal or that we can supply remotely.
Our goal is to help you learn and keep moving forwards with your skills. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.
What if the student is sick?
Please let us know if the student is sick or away so we can prepare our classes accordingly.
We’ll send the student instructions, lesson notes, PDF’s or portal items to help them keep up while being away. Because we offer group classes, we do not offer catchup lessons.
Will the membership price ever change?
We review our pricing annually, and sometimes our prices increase in small increments to keep up with costs, inflation etc. You will be informed with plenty of notice if our prices are going to change.
What if I’m struggling to afford my lessons?
Get in touch with us. We may be able to work out a short term solution.
